Officers and members of Damascus Lodge #445 volunteered with gusto at the Topeka Renaissance Festival October 25th – 26th, 2025. In the words of Chancellor Commander Jason Jennings, PC, “They manned the gates, patroled the fairgrounds, assisted merchants with tents and merchandise blown over from the high winds, brought blankets to merchants and staff who were cold, shoveled mulch to help with muddy ground, participated in opening and closing ceremonies, various events, helped the public, and exemplified what it means to be a modern day knight. Thank you to the creators of this amazing festival for allowing us to be a part of this amazing event!” The Topeka Renaissance Festival posted on their Facebook page, “At Topeka Renaissance festival we now have our own ‘guards of Flinthaven’ as apart of our Festival! We appreciate their willingness to volunteer & support us not just during our festival but also behind the scenes!”
